In order to do a high-quality job in the preparation for China International Digital Economy Expo 2023, on May 15th, the Executive Committee of CIDEE held a symposium in Shijiazhuang for some state-owned enterprises, well-known private enterprises, and news units.

The symposium was presided over by Wang Jianfen, Deputy Secretary General of the Executive Committee of the China International Digital Economy Expo and Deputy Director General of Industry and Information Technology Department of Hebei Province. Leaders from 13 units including China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom, China Tower, State Grid Hebei Electric Power, Huawei, ZTE Communications, Tencent, iFlytek, as well as China Economic Information Service, Phoenix Network, NetEase, participated in the exchange.

At the symposium, Wang Jianfen expressed gratitude to all participating units for their positive contributions to the successful hosting of previous expos. He introduced the overall design of the CIDEE 2023 and the collection of key activities such as forums, events, releases, exhibitions and matchmaking, listened to the wishes and ideas of each unit regarding participating in the Expo, as well as their opinions and suggestions on high-quality hosting of the Expo.

Wang Jianfen stressed that we should earnestly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the President Xi Jinping's series of instructions on the digital economy, the congratulatory letter spirit of the 2019 China International Digital Economy Expo and the recent research in Hebei, as well as the strategic deployment of the provincial party committee and the provincial government, making integrated circuit, network security, big data industry, artificial intelligence and robotics industry, industrial Internet, and digital transformation of enterprises the top priority of this Expo. Each unit should focus on these key areas and carefully plan key activities such as national industrial ecological conferences, closed door meetings, professional competitions, achievement releases, and special exhibitions. Each unit should leverage its own resource advantages, actively declare innovative achievements, promote new technologies, products, models, and scenarios, and fully demonstrate its technological innovation level and capabilities. We should actively organize national professional events and promote the implementation of event results and high-quality industrial projects in Hebei. We should actively invite international and domestic enterprises related to ecological, industrial, and supply chains to participate in conferences, exchanges, exhibitions, and matchmaking, and jointly create a professional digital event with significant international influence.

At the symposium, representatives of participating enterprises expressed their willingness to actively participate in the hosting of sub forums, the collection and release of achievements, and the hosting of professional events. At the same time, they put forward opinions and suggestions on how to run the CIDEE 2023 well with high quality.
